Year in review - January

A review of 2016

I planned that I write regular posts this year… but I failed!

Besides this small fact, I have to admit that there happened so many things with me this year, and actually it was the most exciting year of my life until now.

I think I never traveled so much in a year than in 2016. I didn’t do so much sports before neither, last but not least, I didn’t learn so much about life and hard work never before. But yeah, writing to the blog didn’t fit in, I admit that.

So as a closing session of the year, I decided that I create 12 blog posts, mainly with photos I took this year during my travels or just around our home. I tired to select only a few pictures from every month. And however sometimes I really felt, that I could have done more I have to admit it feels really good to take a review back on the year and think about all what happened with me. And while I was scrolling trough the pictures for finding the good ones for the posts, I ended up in a really warm feeling, actually satisfaction. It was a good year, and I am happy that I’ve been part of it. It’s time to take a moment, think back on it.

As I wanted long time ago to buy a good camera, I bought a DSLR in May. So the post before May are all done mainly with my old iPhone 5. However already a lot happened before I got the camera in May, I have much less photos from then. So for the better photos you will have to wait till the “May” post.

While remembering the moments of this year, I really hope that I won’t stop after the 12 posts, and a calm December Sunday evening is perfect time for planning the next year. I am really excited about that.

January was calm, as I remember, I had a lot of work, and I continued my running plan from last year. It flew fast away. Actually I found only a few images from January: Cold mornings

Karlsruhe

Climbing in a climbing hall in Karlsruhe.

And other cloudy and cold days.
